The PRISM Support Level I position provides supplemental service support in the areas of conversions, ordering stock, vending solutions, putting orders away, (6S) handling of service & equipment, and expediting.  Troubleshoots general vending malfunctions and makes minor machine adjustments.

  • Supports DECO customer solutions and sales associates.
  • Understands company solutions, products, and services. Including limited technical product knowledge.
  • Supports the implementation of Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customer locations.
  • Supports productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customers.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Deliver orders, unpack orders, checks accuracy of shipment and put stock away at integrated customer locations. May include additional branch support tasks such as order entry.
  • May be needed to help support in consignment process
  • Trouble shoots general vending malfunctions and makes minor machine adjustments.
  • Ensure appropriate customer stock levels, generates new orders for merchandise, obtains customer approval to place orders when required.
  • Provides communication and feedback to the sales representative and supervisor as appropriate to ensure full customer satisfaction.
  • Performs general (6S) housekeeping for service equipment and immediate area.
  • Utilize company technology to complete daily tasks, order generation, tracking, and routing.
  • Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s mission.
  • Participates in special projects and preforms additional duties as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • A High School Diploma or the equivalent is required
  • Supply chain and process improvement experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience including one year of related industry experience is preferred.
  • Relevant Military experience a plus.

 

SKILLS:

  • Computer literacy and proficiency in word-processing and spreadsheet software is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills are also required.  

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • q A valid driver’s license is required.
  • q Position requires approx. 30% consistent daily travel within branch or market territory. Occasional overnight travel is also required.
  • q May need to lift up to 50 lbs. based on customer needs
