This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join the IT department.  This job requires little technical knowledge, but will provide experience working across the entire IT organization.

BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY: Drive and execute activities within the IT Department in support of the policies and procedures needed to run a modern IT department, including monitoring of compliance activities, facilitation of meetings, creation of reports and presentations, data analytics, and data governance.


  • Prepare for, lead, and document multiple weekly and bi-weekly process meetings (e.g. CAB, project prioritization).
  • Run regular data checks and work with identified associates to address any issues identified.
  • Coordinate with Internal Audit and External Audit on data requests and scheduled reviews of policy and process adherence.
  • Lead the planning and coordination of the annual Disaster Recovery exercises.
  • Lead the planning and coordination of the annual refreshes of the Quality Assurance (non-production) environments with production data.
  • Works directly with the business and IT teams to conceive and implement a solution to satisfy various business challenges and objectives.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of common project lifecycles, for example agile and waterfall software development life cycles.
  • Meets scheduled milestones to ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Manages scope of work, recognizes changes in scope and works to control scope.  Focuses on deliverables and holds team accountable to do the same.
  • Accountable for documenting project risks.
  • Works with functional owners to assign appropriate resources.
  • Responsible for communication of project status to all stake holders on a regular basis.  This includes the project team as well as to management.
  • Maintains confidentiality of necessary information.
  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
  • Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.

  • Bachelor’s Degree relevant to any aspect of MSC’s business or equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum of 6 months IT system, business analysis or technology super user experience is required.
  • CAPM certification preferred.
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams preferred.
  • Experience with IT Application Development organization a plus.
  • Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) a plus.



  • Must have an interest and general awareness of IT technologies.
  • Must have the ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally within all areas and levels of IT, with the Internal Audit Team, and with each business area.
  • Analytical and data analysis skills required.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (i.e.  Power Point, Word, Outlook) required (Office 365 preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills are required.



  • Supports project milestones (i.e. go-live, etc.) off-hours as appropriate.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 5% of the time may be required.


Compensation starting at $48,720 and up commensurate with experience
