Process Improvement Engineer

We seek an industrial engineer to own the engineered standard program which includes communication, partnerships and process improvements in their location. You will lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement effective and efficient logistics process improvements, and to help develop key measures of success and monitor performance accordingly.

In this role you will become proficient in performing time studies electronically on your iPad and building engineered standards with a predetermined time motion system, in addition to improving your computer skills with scripting, SQL, AutoCAD, data analytics and more. You will also have the opportunity to learn best practices in LEAN methodologies such as Kaizen events, Total Performance Reliability (TPM), 5S, Waste Walks, Process Mapping and more.

Apply your industrial engineering expertise and problem-solving skills to advance success with an industry leader.  

  • Develop and maintain engineered standards, standard operating procedures, and Labor Reporting system for Customer Fulfillment Center (CFC).
  • Work with CFC operations teams to develop labor reporting.
  • Use time studies or predetermined motion time systems to perform work measurement analysis and develop optimal processes.
  • Generate process layouts to facilitate best practices and proper flow in work area.
  • Develop and document Standard Cost Data for use in process improvement analysis.
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis to evaluate financial feasibility of potential process improvements.


The highly skilled industrial engineer we seek should have these qualifications.  

We will also consider entry level and current or recnet college grads.    

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
  • At least 3 to 5 years engineering experience in a distribution environment
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining work measurement systems and working with labor reporting systems
  • Experience with engineered standards development tools
  • Superior data manipulation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in SQL, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Access
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel


“Compensation starting at $50,750.and up commensurate with experience
