The Manager of Creative Services leads a team of production artists in the development of creative solutions that meet the business objectives of the organization and span across multiple mediums, channels, and content types; including but not limited to digital advertising, direct mail, social media, and e-commerce. The Creative Services Manager also provides both visual and strategic direction to interpret and support the MSC brand and enforces brand standards across the company.




  • Leads the Creative Services Team to deliver scalable creative solutions to challenging internal and external opportunities
  • Leads the development, management, and continuous improvement of MSC’s customer and sales communication assets in both online and offline media
  • Manages and protects the MSC brand by ensuring consistency in communications, design elements, and adherence to brand standards
  • Researches and uses technologies, tools and strategies that continually evolve and improve our creative processes
  • Aligns with creative trends in Marketing Communications industry and applies learnings to increase effectiveness toward business objectives
  • Creates and nurtures an environment of continuous learning to meet the evolving creative and digital landscape
  • Mentors and motivates creative team members by providing thoughtful and engaging feedback and coaching that encourages professional development and team growth
  • Leads creative reviews and feedback sessions with the creative team and key stakeholders
  • Responsible for resourcing and scheduling of all creative team requests by managing the intake of creative team workload and balancing capacity between the internal team and external agency resources
  • Serves as the central point of contact between the creative team and the marketing team as well as other cross functional departments and outside vendors
  • Manages the day to day assignments and workflow of creative team members
  • Creates and manages production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Performs all duties inherent in the role of an MSC manager including hiring, termination, review and development of associates.
  • Foster the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of vision and fulfillment of MSC’s mission. 
  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.




  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, or a related field required
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in creative design and creative direction required
  • Minimum of three years managing a team
  • Experience in collaboration with agency partners and internal teams
  • Expertise in external best practices, processes and system solutions
  • Proven success in creating marketing collateral, brand adherence and optimal creative processes that impact sales and profitability growth




  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Creative thinker with a demonstrated ability to create solutions to creative challenges and opportunities, along with developing relationships and influencing key stakeholders
  • Possess strong conceptual skills and an advance-level sense of design, layout and typography
  • Ability to build and lead teams
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, both PC and Macintosh platforms, and various graphics applications including Adobe illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability and flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities



·A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel 10% as needed are required.
