Girls Who Code

Because we are dedicated to advancing our culture of inclusion, we seek out and build relationships with several outreach organizations to attract qualified candidates. Some of our partnerships include: the Autism Society's IGNITE Program, DiversityJobs.com, Professional Diversity Network, Girls Who Code, Hiring our Heroes, Abilities in Motion, ADEC, minority-owned organizations, women-owned organizations, local & state Workforce Services and Vocational Rehab Centers.

We do the right thing.
MSC’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity is grounded in our company’s mission statement: to be the best industrial distributor in the world. The company seeks to foster mutual respect and collaboration among all associates of different cultures, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, ages, national origins, socio-economic backgrounds, and abilities.

"Diversity is not about how we differ. Diversity is about embracing one another's uniqueness." -Ola Joseph

MSC Helping Heroes

Founded by a WWII veteran, MSC is committed to supporting our servicemen and women transition to the civilian workforce. MSC’s Helping Heroes program is focused on mobilizing the collective power of our 6,500-plus associates behind a single worthy cause: veterans and their families.  We fuel this commitment through several partnerships and initiatives, including MSC associates providing mentorship to returning veterans through American Corporate Partners and participating in various career events with Wounded Warrior and RecruitMilitary. We also volunteer with and support many nonprofit organizations across the country like Purple Hearts Homes, United Way, Operation Gratitude, Veteran’s Bridge, Veteran Staffing Network, The Gary Sinise Foundation, Fisher House Foundation, M.A.S.H Pantry, Homes for our Troops, and Veterans Empowerment Organization.
