The Learning Ops Admin Specialist I will be responsible to coordinate, document, maintain and schedule training for all sales associates.  The position will also provide administrative support to the Sales Readiness and Development team.




  • Maintain and communicate Sales Training program calendar, schedules, training notifications, events and reserves training equipment and facilities.
  • Keep content on team’s public page current with announcements and calendars.
  • Manage incoming training project requests and work closely with management to determine and communicate outcome.
  • Work closely with team to create and send effective communications.
  • Partner with senior leaders as needed to review/edit/send communications on their behalf.
  • Manage multiple projects to achieve on-time delivery and quality to meet business needs.
  • Support Corporate Travel Department and provide guidance to travelers via telephone and/or email.
  • Support and provide guidance to associates via telephone, email and in person on training related programs questions and issues.
  • Oversee inventory of training materials and processes office supply orders.
  • Prepare and organize training courseware, and instructor materials that adhere to department’s quality standards and deliver in a timely manner. 
  • Oversee the administration of program curriculum, including but not limited to, participant enrollment, training records, program course codes, tracking, and metrics.
  • Responsible for tracking participant completion of required e-learning courses to include reminders to participants and progress reporting to management.
  • Maintain databases consisting of training programs, tracking and associate training records for classes not captured through existing technology. 
  • Maintain learning records and historical training data.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal team to ensure everything needed for training sessions is arranged.
  • Work closely with management team to coordinate presenters for virtual and live sessions.
  • Assists management with reconciling, coding, and submitting expense invoices.
  • Serve as point person for professional certifications by providing the proper documents and communicating details about latest changes to certification.
  • Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.
  • Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

  • Associate degree or the equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in administrative/coordinator/planner type role required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in working with LMS preferred.




  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
  • Proven ability to be highly organized with strong attention to detail. 
  • Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong commitment to customer satisfaction required.
  • Knowledge of industrial distribution, sales, and/or manufacturing preferred.




  • Coordinates Training Events – Approaches coordination in an organized way to ensure all details are handled effectively 
  • Organization – Plans, prioritizes, and tracks work with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MSC defined core competencies is required.  (See attached list of core competencies for detail.)



  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 10% of the time are required.
