BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Sr Manager is a highly experienced, confident and trusted Corporate Finance business partner in all aspects of finance and accounting to continuously improve the Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report capabilities enabled by IT innovation.  The Sr Manager will lead and empower a strong IT team to deliver strategic and core execution projects.  Our team culture is to work collaboratively and cross functionally to achieve exceptional results.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages all Finance and ERP Systems as an integrated platform that promotes intuitive and consistent user experience, unified end-to-end processes and consolidated view of financial data.  Systems include SAP S4HANA Cloud, Hyperion Planning and Financial Management, Custom ERP, Concur, Vertex, Accuity, Oanda and various banking and third-party payment systems.
  • Prepares yearly budgets, project estimates, and capital expenditures for strategic and tactical projects.
  • Adapts management style to empower teams in the areas of planning, prioritizing, solutioning and technical decisions.
  • Develops and maintains detailed project plans and motivates team to execute and deliver on plan.
  • Leads by example to accelerate decisions and actions.  Willing to step into the details when needed to remove obstacles and lend an experienced view.
  • Manages and leads build vs. buy decisions, proof of capability and software selection.
  • Promotes and establishes best practices and standards for SDLC, compliance and security with an agile and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Mobilizes cross team members to quickly troubleshoot and resolve system, application and data integrity issues as a critical component of mitigating financial risk.
  • Manages direct and indirect staff virtually, onsite, onshore and offshore.
  • Perform all duties inherent in the role of MSC Manager as defined in the MSC Code of Conduct including hiring, termination, review, and development of associates.
  • Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC’s mission.
  • Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

 

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting/Finance, Information Systems or other related fields or equivalent experience is required.
  • Certification in Cloud, ERP, Analytics and/or Integration Solutions a plus.
  • 10 years of experience in delivering and enhancing Finance and ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) covering Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay and Record-to-Reward business processes leveraging Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit/Collections, General Ledger, Fixed Asset, Treasury, Tax, Financial Planning & Analysis and Audit functions required. 5 years of recent experience in SAP S4HANA required.
  • 10 years of experience in delivering and enhancing system and data integration between legacy platforms, Cloud platforms, packaged applications, ERP systems and partner networks required.
  • 8 years of experience leading integration teams that leverage one or more of the following industry leading tools required:  IBM Sterling, IBM MQSeries, SAP PO/PI, and SAP Cloud Platform Integrator.
  • 6 years of direct associate management including full time staff, application managed services providers and consultants to create an effective virtual, geographically dispersed, global team required.

 

SKILLS:

  • Driven and self-motivated leader with minimal direction from management required.
  • Strong business communication, collaboration and presentation skills required.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and partners at all levels, globally, across the organization required.
  • Excellent project management skills required. PMP or Scrum Master certification a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and schedule multiple complex projects with diverse work streams required.
  • Excellent resource management, time management and organizational skills are required.
  • Strong track record of successful project delivery required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 10-15% of the time may be required.

“Compensation starting at $110,250 and up commensurate with experience
