<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Manages Goods-In workflow to ensure optimum service levels are maintained.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Manages Goods-In operation to ensure supervisors meet production schedules.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Attends cross-functional meetings regarding new procedures or improvements to the current system.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Interacts with product managers to improve the quality of Goods-In process.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assists with vendor selection and workshops.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assists in resolving Accounts Payable discrepancies.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Shares “best practices” with other CFCs. and participates as a member of the CFC’s management group in providing information on the status of the functional area’s distribution for strategic and business planning, to manage the CFC and support its expansion and growth.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Monitors various reports, production statistics, REs (reasonable expectancies), and error rates and takes corrective action.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Monitors and adheres to culture training policies and initiatives.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Interacts with the Goods-Out team to aid in reducing the number of errors that leave the CFC.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assists with building security.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Promotes safe work practices.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Fosters cross-functional utilization of assets to ensure timely and effective inbound processing of material.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ensures inventory integrity is maintained throughout the process.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ensures Distribution Center space is most effectively used.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assists CFC Director in budget preparation and compliance.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ensures compliance with all applicable legislative and regulatory requirements and standards.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Improves inventory accuracy while reducing in-bound distribution costs.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Develops and supports supervisory goals regarding safety metrics.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Provides resources for Global Safety initiatives.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Performs all duties inherent in the role of MSC Manager as defined in the MSC Code of Conduct including hiring, termination, review and development of associates.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC’s mission.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">In order to meet customer service requirements, associates can be temporarily re-assigned to other warehouse functions.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:


  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Associates degree or the equivalent required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Five years of distribution experience and 2 years supervisory experience required.


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">SKILLS:


  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Computer proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Good working knowledge of the distribution process and good in/goods out process required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Good verbal and written communication skills required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Basic mathematical skills required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Knowledge of computers and AS/400 system required.


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Bending to lift items from the floor and racks required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Lifting items between 25 and 50 pounds required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to operate at heights up to 50 feet required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time required.

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Position may require a valid states driver’s license.
